Operating instructions for cooling products:

Protect your pet from overheating, Aqua CoolKeepers keep people and animals cool all day long!
- Max. Soak in cold water for 15 minutes
- helps to prevent overheating

How to use the cooling product:
First make sure that you have a large amount of water at your disposal, in which you can immerse the cooling product.
Then remove the product from the packaging and hold it under water while gently kneading the Aqua CoolKeeper.
The cooling crystals in the product will absorb themselves with the cool water and retain their cooling properties for at least two days.
The product expands a bit and is therefore nice and soft and comfortable. This way you can use the product frequently, without ice or freezing.
It is normal for the collar to feel damp after soaking. You can gently wring out the cooling product (don't squeeze too hard!)
After a few hours most of the moisture is gone. It is not the case that your animal has to wait before he can put on the collar,
you can do that immediately.

For best results, soak the cooling product the night before use and then hang it out.
The product is completely dry the next morning and filled with wonderfully cool crystals.
The product may be cooled in the refrigerator (not in the freezer section, just the fridge section),
for example when you have a long car ride ahead of you and it only gets really hot in the afternoon.
Never use an ice-cold product directly on your animal, that is unpleasant and not good for the muscles.

The cooling collar contains a reservoir with cooling crystals that exactly covers the arteries in the neck when worn.
Because arteries are on the surface of the skin, the blood flows directly past the cooling reservoir, which ultimately cools the entire body.
You can compare the effect to holding the wrists under running cold water.
The cooling collar can be attached to the regular collar.

Wash instructions:
If it is necessary to wash the product, please proceed as follows.
Dry the product completely, making sure it feels like it was when you took it out of the package.
It may take a few days for the product to lose all its moisture.
You can quickly hand wash the product with mild soap (but preferably without).
Do not use detergent or aggressive cleaning agents!
These damage the crystals, causing them to lose their effect.

Instructions for long use:
If you want to store your Aqua CoolKeeper, make sure it is completely dry first. This may take several days.
You can make the Aqua CoolKeeper dry faster by hanging it outside in the wind.
Never store the Aqua CoolKeeper in a plastic bag or plastic container when it is still slightly damp, this can cause mould.

The following actions are harmful to the Aqua CoolKeeper:
- the Aqua CoolKeeper cannot withstand salt water
- the Aqua CoolKeeper cannot withstand petrol or diesel
- the Aqua CoolKeeper cannot tolerate alcohol
- the Aqua CoolKeeper cannot withstand bleach or chlorine

The above matters will damage the cooling properties of the Aqua CoolKeeper.
